10% of Garden City Church’s budget is sent out to support our local and global partners. We partner relationally and financially, locally and globally, to plant churches and serve the marginalized. That 10% is split evenly between 4 partners:

1. Bay Area Church Planting:

Every year or two, Garden City selects a new Bay Area church plant to support financially and relationally.

Quicksilver Church

In the summer of 2020, Garden City sent out our Associate Pastor, Fred Mok, and 50 of our church members to plant a new church in south San Jose—Quicksilver Church. Quicksilver is now an independent church (with its own name, elder board, finances, etc), yet Quicksilver is the charter member of the Garden City family of churches—churches that share the same disciple-making focus and doctrine as Garden City.

2. Local Mercy Ministry:

Grace Village

Grace Village is a local housing complex providing biblical, recovery, skills, and financial training for women & children facing homelessness and domestic abuse. To help Garden City as we sponsor, demo, refurbish, and paint an apartment in Grace Village, click here!

3. Regional Church Planting:

Fellowship Associates

Fellowship Associates invests in proven leaders to help them plant churches that plant churches. Our Lead Pastor, Justin Buzzard, went through the FA residency in 2011, and we’ve maintained a close relationship with the FA leadership team since. We sent Garden City’s first church planter through FA also.

4. International Church Planting & Disciple Making:

FRontline Missions

Frontline’s mission of “advancing the Gospel in the world’s difficult places” is happening through a multi-national team serving in more than a dozen countries on three continents.

Western Seminary:

Our mission at Garden City is “Making Disciples Who Impact Our City For Jesus.” Central to discipleship is growing in our understanding of God’s revealed love and truth as taught in Scripture, and being equipped to transfer this love and truth to others. To that end, Garden City has partnered with Western Seminary to help develop and train members at Garden City.

Through this partnership, all Garden City members who desire to take classes at Western Seminary, and who qualify, will receive a 10-20% discount on courses that meet degree program requirements. If you are interested in learning more about this partnership, please contact our Administrator.
