How You Can Help/Ideas

  • Operation Palm Leaf: Healing Grove Health Center, in conjunction with CityTeam and churches in San Jose is launching an effort to help the thousands of Spanish-speaking undocumented immigrants in Silicon Valley living in high-density apartments, with porous walls and shared ventilation.

  • Virtual Volunteer with Help One Child: Do an online activity with a foster child!

  • Donate needed items to PATH: Donate the following items to PATH, an organization in downtown San Jose dedicated to ending homelessness: Non-perishable, sealed foods, paper goods (toilet paper, etc.), and hygiene items. Jesse Gomez (jessegomez@epath.org) is happy to pick up OR you can drop off. Email Judy Mok (fjmok@yahoo.com) or Amber Antle (amber.antle@outlook.com) for more information.

  • The city of San Jose just launched Silicon Valley Strong: This is a city-wide effort to help, donate, or seek help during the COVID-19 pandemic.

  • Blessing Fund: If you have ideas or people our church can bless financially, email details to Shea Salinas shea@gardencitysv.com.

  • Give to Garden City Church here. Support our mission to make, mature, and multiply disciples in this uncertain time!

  • Support your local business with an online gift card: This idea was sent by Brent Boekestein - thank you! Give a local business that you would ordinarily buy from an online gift card. We get our Sunday coffee from Voyager Craft Coffee!

  • Join us for a weekly 15-minute prayer meeting at noon on Wednesdays here.

  • Email Staff Team team@gardencitysv.com or Elder Team elders@gardencitysv.com with your ideas and suggestions on how to help!
