Sunday's Setlist 1/19/20
Hey Church!
I’m excited to teach you a new song this week, Give Us Your Heart. What a thing to ask for! I love the line, “Your eyes are on the lonely.” In the creation story, the first thing God describes as being not good, is man’s loneliness (Gen. 2:18). Whenever we ask God to give us His heart, we are asking to partner with Him in His creative redemptive work. And, no doubt, it’s ultimately for His great glory! But it’s also for our good and what’s worked out for our good is a part of His great glory. God, O give us Your heart!
Here’s the songs we’re singing:
Jesus My Joy - I love singing this song. Our church does too. Let’s sing to our chief joy and desire!
Give Us Your Heart - New song! Listen below!
Center My Life - We sang this song last week, and believe it’s good to sing it again as we begin this walk through 1 Thessalonians and talk about making disciples and planting churches. We want Jesus to be beautiful, powerful, and wonderful in our lives. And we want that reality to bubble over in our lives to others as we live in response to His beauty, power, and wonderful love.
We Give You Glory - We still love singing this song written from Ephesians. We are His church and we exist to give God glory to bring about His Kingdom by His Spirit.
Excited to sing with you church! See you Sunday!
