Jeremy Tzou
Hi, my name is Jeremy. I grew up in New Jersey and moved to Texas when I was 15. I lived in the Houston area and went to high school as well as college in Texas. Then I worked in Texas for a year and then moved to the bay area. One of my favorite memories of living in Texas was playing board games together with friends because there aren't many outdoor activities you can do. Things would sometimes get competitive but it made the games more exciting!
One recent life group highlight was cider tasting, where we were able to gather together outside and try out different kinds of ciders, as well as watching a movie and eating together outside.
I wouldn't say I particularly had a favorite spot in the bay area, However, places I enjoyed are probably anything hilly like Mission Peak. Mission Peak is especially nice during the winter when everything is green. Coming from Texas green hills are something I don't get to see often!
One way I have managed to stay encouraged through Covid is that our life group has been consistent about meeting together outside, even when it’s freezing outside, and, man, can it get chilly in the evenings! Just the act of still meeting in person helps drives away some of the loneliness I may experience from the lockdowns.
